Vietnam Railways offer train tickets for trains heading out from Hanoi to Da Nang. There are 4 trains that run consistently on this course, including SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7. The normal travel time is around 15 hours. The best toll for the train from Hanoi to Da Nang is 48 USD for hard sleeper and 59 USD for soft sleeper.

• Hanoi Station has two stops: The Principle station (station A) situated at 120 Le Duan road, Dong Da dist., Hanoi city and the station B situated at Tran Quy Cap road, Dong Da dist., Hanoi. With the trains from Hanoi to Southern for the most part withdraw at the Fundamental station (station A) and the trains to Northern (Sapa - Lao Cai) leave at the station B.

• Da Nang Station is situated at 202, Hai Phong Road, Thanh Khe dist., Da Nang city. This station is among the three largest train stations of Vietnam welcoming daily trains from the North to the South and vice versa that stop for time enough to collect relatively huge number of passengers in the city.
